Wine Arcade

The Wine Arcade at 116 Mackenzie Road is a charming wine bar and retailer with a varied selection of fine wines.

Established by a group of friends because they wanted a place where they can meet and relax after work to enjoy a bottle of wine or two, the Wine Arcade is a cool and buzzy bar entertaining a mix crowd of city slickers and media people. In the late evenings, the bar is candlelit and romantic. It also serves finger foods to accompany wines. With both indoor and outdoor areas, the Wine Arcade is a fantastic venue for parties and get-togethers, whatever the weather.

The wine list is extensive and bold. New World wines are particularly well represented and there are vibrant spicy exciting Australians like the Beckett’s Flat Shiraz (Margaret River), the Tamborine Estate Reseve Black Shiraz from Queensland and the luxuriously velvety Casa Donoso D-Line Limited Edition from Chile.

Recognising and appreciating the emergence of excellent South African vineyards, the Wine Arcade is taking the lead in bringing boutique South African fine wines to the Singapore wine buff. It has arguably the best selection of South African wines in Singapore, particularly from the Stellenbosch regions, including great vintages from the Laibach and Seidelberg vineyards. Spanish wines are also increasingly represented in the list, a fine example being the Gran Reserva from Bodegas Arzuaga and Gran Solorca from Vina Solorca; both have rich nuance and complexity befitting a Ribera del Duero.

The Wine Arcade is more than a place where you can drink and buy great wines. One of the aims of the proprietors is also to make wine appreciation and education more accessible to everyone.
